Is file#
Checking whether a molecular system item or form name corresponds to an on-disk file form.
The function molsysmt.form.is_file() returns True if the input represents a file-based molecular format.
Added in version 1.0.0.

Basic usage#
Let’s test items and form names:
import molsysmt as msm
print('Is "file:pdb" a file form?:', msm.form.is_file('file:pdb'))

print('Is "trajectory.xtc" a file form?:', msm.form.is_file('trajectory.xtc'))
